Sharing files between Android and iPhone is getting easier!

Ana sayfa / News

Sending photos, videos or any other file between Android and iPhone models has been a big problem for years. Although manufacturers are working on different software, users continue to experience similar problems. Finally , Oppo has developed a technology that will allow wireless file sharing between Android and iPhone .

Oppo is working on a new feature that will simplify file sharing between Android and iOS devices. A leaked screenshot from ColorOS 15 suggests that the company will be introducing a wireless file transfer method integrated into Android .

With the new feature, ColorOS 15 users will be able to send files such as photos, videos, and documents to a nearby iPhone wirelessly. While an app will be required to be installed on the iPhone, the transfer interface will be directly integrated into the ColorOS file manager.

This wireless transfer method will eliminate the need for third-party file transfer apps or cloud storage services for cross-platform content sharing, although there are solutions like AirDrop for iOS and Quick Share for Android .

It’s not yet clear how file transfers technically work and whether they will be limited to Oppo/OnePlus devices. The leaked information also doesn’t specify whether the feature will be available globally or limited to the Chinese market.

The new feature could increase cross-device interaction by making it easier for users to share files. It could also benefit user security by reducing reliance on third-party apps.
